Greg Bledsoe, Anchor for NBC 7 News Today

Greg Bledsoe co-anchors NBC 7 News Today and NBC 7 News Midday alongside Marianne Kushi Monday through Friday.

Greg joined the NBC 7 team in 2001 as a writer and has since won multiple awards as a reporter, photographer and anchor for the station. Bledsoe is also a certified meteorologist.

"Storytelling is what I love," says Greg, "A well told story can give a voice to the important issues affecting San Diego."

The Denver native is a graduate of the University of Colorado's School of Journalism who completed post-graduate work in meteorology through Mississippi State University's Broadcast Meteorology Program.

He's a 23 time Emmy award winner for writing, editing, reporting, and photography. He's also won multiple national awards from the National Press Photographer's Association, including twice being named the National Solo Video Journalist of the year in 2011 and 2012.

Greg lives in downtown San Diego with his wife, son, and daughter.

 “To be able to do what I love in a place like San Diego, is really pretty amazing," he says.
