Greg Bledsoe is a multiple award winning reporter, photographer and meteorologist at NBC 7. Greg will also begin anchoring NBC 7 News Today on Saturdays and Sundays from 7-8am, alongside Megan Tevrizian (effective December 7, 2013).
The Denver native is a graduate of the University of Colorado's School of Journalism who completed post-graduate work in meteorology through Mississippi State University's Broadcast Meteorology Program.
Greg arrived at NBC 7 San Diego in 2001 fresh out of college as a writer and associate producer with a goal to tell stories.
"Telling stories is what I love to do," says Greg, "I love to shoot, write and edit, and have a hand in every step through the process."
Greg has won multiple national awards from the National Press Photographer's Association, including twice being named the NPPA's Solo Video Journalist of the year in 2011 and 2012. He is also a 12 time Emmy award winner for writing, editing, reporting, and photography, three of which were awarded recently in 2012. In 2010 Greg was honored with the Golden Mic for editing, and honored by the San Diego Press Club for reporting and photography.
Greg currently lives in San Diego with his wife Jessica whom he met in college.
