Pink isn't a color you would normally associate with the NFL, but this weekend you'll see some players -- and possibly some Chargers -- wearing pink cleats.

The NFL has given teams the option of having up to six players per team wear pink cleats in support of breast cancer awareness. The Chargers players who have the option are Philip Rivers, LaDainian Tomlinson, Darren Sproles, Chris Chambers, Shawn Merriman and Antonio Cromartie.

You can see whether the players actually sport the pink cleats for yourself when the Chargers face off against the Pittsburgh Steelers on NBC 7/39 next Sunday night.

According to the St. Paul Pioneer Press, several players on the Minnesota Vikings will be wearing Pink, including QB Brett Favre, whose wife is a breast cancer survivor.
