    The San Diego Chargers made a number of roster moves today as veteran players’ contracts expired.  Most became unrestricted free agents as of 1 p.m. today.

    • Left tackle Marcus McNeill was released. 
    • Wide receiver Vincent Jackson became an unrestricted free agent.
    • Running back Mike Tolbert became an unrestricted free agent.
    • Wide receiver Patrick Crayton became an unrestricted free agent.
    • Center Nick Hardwick signed a new three-year contract.
    • Offensive tackle Jared Gaither became an unrestricted free agent.
    • Defensive tackle Antonio Garay became an unrestricted free agent.
    • Fullback Jacob Hester became an unrestricted free agent.
    • Defensive end Tommie Harris became an unrestricted free agent.
    • Tight end Randy McMichael became an unrestricted free agent.
    • Tight end Kory Sperry became an unrestricted free agent.
    • Offensive lineman Tony Moll became an unrestricted free agent.
    • Offensive lineman Scott Mruczkowski became an unrestricted free agent.
    • Cornerback Dante Hughes was released.
    • Linebacker Everette Brown was waived.
    • Linebacker Nate Triplett was waived.
    • Wide receiver Bryan Walters was waived.
    • Safety Paul Oliver became an unrestricted free agent.
    • Safety Bob Sanders became an unrestricted free agent.
    • Safety Steve Gregory became an unrestricted free agent.
    • Offensive lineman Brandyn Dombrowski was named a restricted free agent.
    • Wide receiver Richard Goodman was named an exclusive-rights free agent.
    • Long snapper Mike Windt was named an exclusive-rights free agent.
    • Linebacker Stephen Cooper became an unrestricted free agent.
    • Linebacker Na’il Diggs became an unrestricted free agent.
