Woman Falls off Cliff, Breaks Both Ankles

A woman broke both of her ankles after falling off a cliff, according to San Diego lifeguards.
The incident happened Saturday around 1 p.m. at Sunset Cliffs
Lifeguards said the woman was with her father and brother when she fell about 15 feet off a cliff, breaking both ankles.
Her father said he carried her closer to the stairs and was going to try to tie a rope around her to carry her up to street-level, but soon realized that wouldn’t work.
Rescuers arrived at the scene and lifeguards were able to pull the woman up the stairs on a gurney.
