Wet Wednesday Soaks San Diego

The rain continues Wednesday across San Diego County. The second in a series of storms is expected to be more generous than the first.

San Diego's coastal areas could see from .1" to about .3" of rain Wednesday. In the valleys and the foothills, totals should get up to around .5". An inch or more rain is expected in the mountains.

On Tuesday, most of the rain fell north of Interstate 8. Lindbergh Field reporting .06" while Mt. Woodson measured .36".

Winds will be strong at times through Wednesday. There is a wind advisory for the far East County areas and offshore too.
