Suspect Threatens Acid in Attempted Bank Robbery: Police

A man attempted to rob a bank Monday afternoon and threatened to throw acid in the clerk's face, according to police.

The incident happened around 1 p.m. at Comerica Bank on 3361 Rosecrans in Midway. Police said a man in his 50s or 60s walked in, then threatened the clerk for money.

Police were able to apprehend the man and he is now in custody.
