Oceanside police offer a detailed drawing of a man accused of attempted kidnapping.

The incident occurred on May 19 on Oceanside Boulevard near Camelot Street. Investigators said a 14-year-old Lincoln Middle School student was walking after school when a man demanded she get in a car with him. At one point during the incident, the suspect drove onto the sidewalk and blocked the student's path, police said. The student said she told the man, "Get away,” and then ran away.

The subject is described as a black man between 40-45 years old with a thin build, short black hair and a lot of wrinkles on his face. He was wearing a dark blue T-shirt and black sunglasses.

The vehicle was described as a beige four-door sedan with the partial plate of CA 6KQ####, police said. The car had lightly tinted windows.

If anyone has information on the subject or the vehicle, they are asked to contact the Oceanside Police Department.
