SUV Crashes in Santee Yard

A woman lost control of an SUV early Wednesday and landed overturned outside a home in Santee.
Before landing on its side, the SUV hit a telephone pole and a tree according to San Diego County sheriff’s deputies.
When firefighters arrived to the scene on North Magnolia and Lisa Meadows at 2:30 a.m., they found the woman ejected from the car.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The woman may have been speeding when she lost control according to Sgt. Scott Hill, with the SDSO Santee Traffic Division. Hill said it also appears she wasn’t wearing a seatbelt.
