San Diego Police are looking for the driver in a police pursuit that ended early Thursday with two suspects running on foot near the La Jolla Beach and Tennis Club.
Officers say they spotted a car speeding near Monte Vista and Fern around 3:30 a.m. When police tried to pull over the driver, the vehicle drove off.
Police say they chased the driver for approximately 30 seconds before ending the pursuit.
As officers canvassed the area looking for the vehicle, they found a white Ford sedan that matched the suspect vehicle description near Calle De La Plata and Paseo Del Ocaso north of Torrey Pines Road.
The sedan was parked in a driveway and two men were inside the vehicle. When officers approached, the men ran according to police.
The passenger was taken into custody and booked on suspicion of being intoxicated in public. Officers were looking for the 21-year-old driver of the vehicle.
