FBI agents announced the recovery of a California teenager missing for more than a week.

Agents in San Diego were looking for 13-year-old Kaelynne Paez, a teen from Heber, Calif. She was recovered safely by Los Angeles Police officers Sunday morning based on information from the FBI.

Paez was last seen on the morning of Sept. 9 near Heber Avenue in Imperial County. Officers found her in a Los Angeles residence, but no other details were disclosed Monday.

The teen was reunited with her family in Heber, but the investigation is ongoing. No arrests have been made.

San Diego FBI authorities said last week that Paez may have met someone online.
