Man with Gunshot Wound Discovered Near National City Shopping Center

A man was discovered with a gunshot wound to the leg in front of a National City strip mall Tuesday.

National City police are investigating the shooting near Euclid and Division.

The strip mall includes a Mario's Family Clothing Center, a Tae Kwon Do center and a Wrigley's Supermarket.

San Diego spokesperson Lt. Andrea Brown told NBC 7 San Diego the two victims were involved in a drive-by shooting in Valencia Park two hours earlier.The shooting occurred on Churchward Street around 10 a.m.

One person was shot in the leg and head. Another victim suffered non-threatening injuries. The second victim was uncooperative with medics, said Brown.

That victim ended up at the National City location according to Brown.
