Man Rescued From Submerged Car

A man was rescued Wednesday evening after his car plunged into a pond in Vista.
The man was seen standing on the roof of the submerged car at around 4.48 p.m. at Buena Vista Park along Shadowridge Drive.
A helicopter transported him to a local hospital.
It’s not clear how the car ended up in the pond.
