Man Lost Balance Before Train Struck

A medical examiner is still working to identify a man struck and killed by a train on Easter Sunday.

Witnesses to the accident said the man lost his balance walking along the train tracks and fell in front of an oncoming train on W. Morena Blvd., according to the medical examiner's report.

The train was unable to stop in time. Emergency personnel were called to the scene but the man died as a result of his injuries.

The train had no passengers at the time.
