A 26-year-old San Diego man was identified as the driver killed in a rollover crash in Sorrento Valley Monday, confirmed the San Diego County Medical Examiner's Office.
Giovanny Cantero was reportedly driving at a high-rate of speed as he exited northbound on Interstate 5 at Sorrento Valley Road.
The vehicle overturned into a storm channel near the 10000 block of Roselle Street.
The crash occurred just before 11 a.m. Monday.
Cantero was transported to a Scripps Memorial Hospital in La Jolla. He was later declared dead.
