A person was struck by a train on Tuesday night in Oceanside, according to the sheriff’s department.
The incident happened around 9:45 p.m. on the 200-block of Mission Avenue when a man was struck by a northbound freight train.
Officials said the man sustained significant, but non-life threatening injuries and was transported to a hospital.
