High Wind Warning Issued

    Flags blow in high winds in Valley Center.

    A high wind warning is in effect for the mountains in San Diego County until 6 p.m. Tuesday according to the National Weather Service.

    Gusts as high as 60 mph are expected this afternoon in the mountains. They should gradually diminish into the evening.

    Areas of west to northwest winds reaching 25 to 35 mph will be felt with the strongest gusts to around 75 mph near the ridgetops along desert mountain slopes and adjacent desert areas.
