Friday Mega Millions Numbers Announced; No Jackpot Winner

There were no tickets sold with all six numbers in the Friday drawing of the multi-state Mega Millions lottery and the estimated jackpot for Tuesday's drawing will grow to $20 million.

Four tickets -- one each sold in California, Georgia, Pennsylvania and Washington -- had five numbers, but didn't have the Mega number.

The one sold in California is worth $188,282 while the other four are each worth $250,000, California Lottery officials announced. California law requires most major payoffs of lottery games to be paid on a pari-mutuel basis.

The numbers drawn tonight were 4, 22, 42, 46, 53 and the Mega number was 20. The estimated jackpot was $12 million.

The drawing was the first since the last time a ticket with all six numbers was sold.

The odds of matching all five numbers and the Mega number is 1 in 175,711,536, according to the Mega Millions website.

The Mega Millions game is played in 41 states and the District of Columbia.
