Driver Blows Red Light, Runs from Scene: CHP

A pickup truck driver ran from the scene of an accident Friday morning at the corner of Jamacha Road and Sweetwater Lane.
According to California Highway Patrol officers, the truck ran a red light around 6:30 a.m. and slammed into a Ford Explorer, seriously injuring the Explorer’s driver.
The driver of the Chevy pickup ran from the scene and was spotted by witnesses going into a nearby apartment complex, according to CHP.
The intersection was cleared just after 7 a.m.
