Cliff Rescue Launched in La Jolla

Authorities launched a helicopter in preparation for a cliff rescue in La Jolla, but it turned out to be a false alarm.

The incident happened shortly before 1:30 p.m. on Sunday between La Jolla Farms Road and Black Gold Road.

The person was not injured and did not need assistance.
