Chula Vista police are asking for the public’s help to find a missing girl.
13-year-old Venicia Ortiz was last seen in the 4200-block of National Avenue on or around Aug. 7, according to the missing person bulletin.
Ortiz is being called a runaway, and police said there is no evidence of foul play.
Ortiz is described as 5-foot-3 and 150 pounds with brown eyes and long, curly, black hair. She was last seen wearing a dark gray hoodie and dark colored pants.
