Try stopping by the Museum of Photographic Arts, Birch Aquarium at Scripps or The New Children's Museum – free of charge.
Bank of America and Merrill Lynch are partnering together to bring their customers “Museums on Us”, where all you’ll have to do is bring your BoFA or Merrill Lynch credit or debit card, and a photo id, to any of the three participating museums to get in free.
It happens on each first full weekend of every month, this Saturday and Sunday kicks it off for the month of February.
If you’ve been to one of these spots, you know how great a deal it is and if you haven’t, now is your chance.
Here’s what’s happening this weekend along with the regularly scheduled events:
- This The New Children's Museum is presenting “Words Alive” a reading of a special selection of animal themed books for kids.
- MoPA is holding an event called "Street Wise”, an exhibition and Q&A with art critic Andy Grundberg and photographer Jerry Berndt.
- Finally, the Birch Aquarium at Scripps is continuing it’s naturalist-guided grey whale watching tours.
