The San Diego Fire Department was called just before 1:30 p.m. to the home in the 2700 block of Nye Street.

Firefighters were able to put out the blaze within 15 minutes, and no one was injured.

Officials say the local Red Cross crews have been called to home to assist the three people living there, who are now temporarily displaced.

Investigators are still trying to determine the cause of the fire. There is no word yet on how much damage the building sustained.
