Camp Pendleton Marine Killed in Afghanistan ID'd

On Friday, the Pentagon released the name today of a 22-year-old Camp Pendleton-based Marine killed in combat in Afghanistan on Thursday.

Cpl. Michael J. Dutcher of Asheville, N.C., died in Helmand Province on Thursday, according to the Department of Defense.

Dutcher was a member of the 1st Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, I Marine Expeditionary Force.
