Tis' the season for recycling old holiday lights. The Home Depot kicked-off its first ever Eco Options Holiday Light Exchange program Saturday.
Customers who brought in their old light strings, whether they worked or not, received a $3 coupon that goes towards the purchase of energy efficient L-E-D lights at the store.
L-E-D lights are shown to use 90 percent less electricity and last up to 20 times longer.
The recycling program was offered Saturday and Sunday.
