One of Barack Obama's biggest celebrity supporters made a special appearance in San Diego on Election Night, generating a lot of political heat.

A report in the San Diego Union-Tribune said the Sticky and Sweet Tour will contribute more than $200,000 to the city's general fund.  An exact dollar amount will not be known until this week.

The money is from rent and concession sales at Petco Park, the report said.

Under a contract with the San Diego Padres, the city gets 70 percent and the team 30 percent of off-season revenue from special events at Petco Park.
