Hydrant's Water Pushes Minivan Into Air

Woman Backs Over Hydrant

An amateur photographer caught the water from a broken fire hydrant pushing the back of a minivan into the air.

A California woman accidentally backed the vehicle over the hydrant. The water pressure was so great that it lifted the tail off the ground.

The car stood poised on its noise for several minutes.

The Santee, Calif., fire department was finally able to turn the water off and lower the minivan back to the ground.
