The Second City: Laughing Matters

La Jolla Playhouse
March 20-23
La Jolla’s famed playhouse is bringing the laughs this month with a tour from the well-known Second City troubadours from Chicago. Tickets start at $20.

“The Mountaintop”
San Diego Repertory Theater
March 2-31
This drama take the audience to the final night of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s life in Memphis, Tenn. The two-person show will make you feel like you’re living in 1968. Tickets start at $31.

Standup Comedy
Mad House Comedy Club
March 6 to April 6
Enjoy some of San Diego’s funniest comics in the downtown theater above Horton Plaza. Tickets prices begin at $15, but the laughs are free.

“A Gentlemen’s Guide to Love and Murder”

The Old Globe
March 8 to April 14
Dive into a world of mystery and music at the Old Globe’s production of “A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder.” The hilarious world premiere is about about a duke seeking his fortune. Tickets start at $45.
