Olympian McKayla Maroney to Guest Star on “Hart of Dixie”

Gold medal-winning gymnast will appear on upcoming episode of CW show.

The CW sure does love their Olympians!

Following in the footsteps of Ryan Lochte and teammate Gabby Douglas, gold-medal winning gymnast McKayla Maroney is guest starring in a season two episode of the medical drama "Hart of Dixie," the network confirms.

We gotta admit, we're impressed! (Get it?!)

Gabby Douglas met her celebrity crush Ian Somerhalder when she filmed The Vampire Diaries

Maroney will play Tonya, a friend of Rose's (McKaley Miller), who comes to her defense, in an upcoming episode of Rachel Bilson's charming series.

Maroney's teammate Douglas is set to appear on "The Vampire Diaries" in a non-speaking role, while Lochte will play himself in an episode of "90210."

The vaulter's love of TV is well-documented: she recently visited the sets of "How I Met Your Mother" and "Pretty Little Liars."

"Hart of Dixie" returns for its second season on Tuesday, Oct. 2 at 8 p.m. on the CW.
