    Earthless headline the Casbah Saturday.

One of my top picks for this weekend is San Diego Oysterfest at Marina Embarcadero North. The lineup for Friday features Ghostland Observatory, Rocket From the Crypt, Dance Yourself Clean, the Schizophonics, the Verigolds and Buckfast Superbee, while Saturday has Matisyahu, Magic!, Dam-Funk, Vokab Kompany, Josh Heinrichs and Janelle Phillips.

Elsewhere on Friday, JMSN and Alcordo are at the Casbah; Merchandise, B Boys and Exasperation rock Space Bar; Gloria Trevi vs. Alejandra Guzmán takes over Valley View Casino Center; Mrs. Henry and Joe Wood jam at the Pour House; Samothrace, He Whose Ox Is Gored, Void Omina and Cryptic Languages get heavy at Soda Bar; and Only Theatre of Pain, Gitane Demone Quartet, Karl J. Paloucek and 13 Wolves play at Brick By Brick. Get your dance on with Bad Boy Bill & Richard Vission at Bang Bang; Deorro at Omnia; or the Oysterfest Afterparty: Dance Yourself Clean at Music Box.

Start your Saturday with the Vinyl Junkies Record Swap at the Casbah with special guest DJ Lol Tolhurst (the Cure). Later that night, Earthless, Monarch, Flying Hair and Operation Mindblow Visuals psych out at the Casbah; 40 oz. to Freedom and Red Not Chili Peppers give it away at the Belly Up; The Anniversary, Dude York and Fullbloods continue the emo revival at the Irenic; Kuinka, Cardinal Moon and Nena Anderson are at Soda Bar; Mrs. Henry and That’s Right play at the Pour House; Spindrift hit Seven Grand; and the Deslondes perform at Space. Dance options include Club Sabbat with yours truly at Numb3rs; Booty Bassment at the Whistle Stop; Decades Collide ‘80s vs. ‘90s with Biz Markie at House of Blues; Party Favor at Omnia; and Jonas Rathsman at Bang Bang.

Have a great weekend and I’ll see you on the dance floor.
