    Hey SD, I'm Tim Pyles, your friendly concertgoer with some highlights for February.  Remember, I'm always at the Casbah every Monday for Anti-Monday League (Sir Sly RESIDENCY this month) and the third Thursday for Maryjane's Underground at the Hard Rock Hotel.     Great band that is transitioning its sound to feature more synth pop

    Feb. 24: The Night Marchers @ Casbah
    John Reis of Rocket From the Crypt/Hot Snakes/Drive Like Jehu fronts this band.

    Feb. 25: Coheed & Cambria @ House of Blues
    Progressive alternative rock that has touches of Queen!

    Feb. 26: The Residents @ Belly Up Tavern
    Experimental and multimedia band that creates an experience of sight and sound. Very reclusive too.

    Feb. 27: Galactic @ Belly Up Tavern
    New Orleans funk and jazz jam band bringing hip-hop, rock and electronica into the mix.

    Feb. 27: The Used @ House of Blues
    Post-hardcore and emo metal from this band, originally from Utah.

    Feb. 28: SoundDiego LIVE with the Palace Ballroom and Dirty Sirens @ U-31 - RSVP here...

    As always, I highlight some but not all. I try to go to everything on my list, but can't always make it happen.  I will for sure be at the big SoundDiego LIVE party at the end of the month, so please come up and say hello.
