The Dave Matthews Band has contributed $4 million to the BAMA Works Fund, which supports environmental protection. They also support tree plantings and wind turbine construction to offset the traveling they do in their tour bus from city to city.

Last night, tweets were blazing with the twitter hashtag #QC25, for Qualcomm’s 25th anniversary party in Mira Mesa.  In celebration of the monumental milestone, over 12,000 employees were treated to a private concert by Dave Matthews and longtime collaborator,Tim Reynolds

With an estimated $600,000 price tag, a very talkative and loose Dave Matthews ripped through classics including “Dancing Nancies”, “Ants Marching”, “Crush” and “Satellite”.  Fireworks and Mira Mar jets -- not part of the celebration -- filled the air as Matthews and Reynolds played for almost two hours.
In the words Qualcomm employee, Christina Schone, “what a memorable night for Qualcomm. Thank you to everyone involved for the experience!”
