Sounds Like San Diego: Sept. 28

He's My Brother, She's My Sister headline the Tour de Fat concert after the bike parade

My, my, my. There is so much going on around San Diego on Saturday that it's almost tragic these things can't be planned over several separate weekends. On top of Entrepreneurs Day in downtown and various locations kicking off Oktoberfests, this is a good day to enjoy some free and low-dough shows around town. Kicking things off is the annual Adams Avenue Street Fair. The Casbah has a stage this year, so the festival has certainly stepped up, in my humble opinion. Downtown, you can witness the opening dedication and celebration of the new public library, with music and vendors, and library tours for all. Perhaps the most outrageous of all the event, though, is the Tour de Fat's return to San Diego. The free event welcomes bike riders of all ages and abilities to costume up and join the bike parade, and enjoy loads of free entertainment, capped off by the incredible He's My Brother, She's My Sister. I could go on down the list, but there's just way too much to do. I will say I hear tickets will sell out for the Casbah on Saturday night, so you might want to grab them up online before they're gone.
