This busy week of music keeps plugging right along on Thursday with some awesome choices if you're an indie-rock or alt-rock fan. At the Casbah, Portland's Blitzen Trapper return after some time away, having skipped us on a couple tours but finally routing through. Meanwhile, from a little further north, in Vancouver, Said the Whale are back at Soda Bar. Everything the band has released to date is awesome, and its shows never disappoint. For a little more frenetic energy and perhaps more recognizable by their radio hits, House of Blues hosts the Honda Civic tour with American Authors, the Mowgli's and Echosmith. Joyce Manor is at the Irenic, Dinosaur Feathers are at the Bancroft, and the Polish Ambassador moves the dance floor at the Belly Up.
