SoundDiego LIVE Goes Back to the Beach!

The month is coming to an end, and that means it's time for another SoundDiego LIVE event. I guess you can call this one a summer kick-off, as we are heading back to the beach with this month's show at Typhoon Saloon (get on the guest list by clicking HERE). This will be the first time our event is headlined by a DJ, and there are none more appropriate than Junior theDISCOpunk. Don't tell him I told you, but back when I first moved to Kensington, Junior was a bartender at the Ken Club. He worked on Wednesday nights, and when it was really slow, I'd go hang out with Junior and make him put Melrose Place on the bar TVs. When other patrons would come in, he'd quickly change the channel and mumble, "She made me watch," but then ask me for updates on the drama when he'd missed an episode. We've been great friends over the years, and he has inspired me: He was one of the first people I saw turn their passion into their full time career. Junior can be heard all over town, but on Thursday night, he will bring the party just for us.
