This is a first for me. I have to admit that I haven't crossed the border in quite some time, but tonight I'm recommending that anyone brave enough to head south should go to Tijuana's Black Box (not to be confused with the Golden Hill recording studio of the same name) and welcome Nortec Collective's Bostich + Fussible back home. Though they aren't bringing home a Grammy, they're still worth celebrating, and our border region is one big happy community when you get over that whole frontera thing -- take a trip with me to Tijuana tonight. The Collective tears it up on this side of the border; just imagine what they do in their own neighborhood.
