    NEWSLETTERS

There's a lot going down in San Diego on Friday, and I, for one, am looking forward to show-hopping around the city. Down at the Casbah, Small Black performs to a sold out crowd, while the Orwells also prepare for a sold-out show at the Che Cafe. The always beloved English Beat return to the Belly Up, and you might still be able to grab tickets in lieu of their already sold-out Saturday show. G. Love & Special Sauce bring their funky tunes to House of Blues, while K.Flay performs upstairs in the Fifth Avenue Sidestage (read our preview here). My pick for the night, however, is Nobunny, whose rambunxious rock usually results in the masked performer baring down to just his skivvies. It's always a fun show, and tickets are still available for this rare all-ages performance.

    • Casbah presents Nobunny, Hunx & his Punx, Shannon & the Clams @ Irenic
