If you're thinking about going to the San Diego County Fair for a concert, Tuesday may be your night as Joan Jett & the Blackhearts take over the Heineken Grand Stage. The legendary musician and her band are beyond description and are certain to deliver a killer set for the Fair crowd. On your way home, you can hit up the Belly Up and see some of the San Diego Music Awards' Best Acoustic Artist nominees as Dawn Mitschele shows off her sexy, smoky vocals with Lee Coulter, Michael Tiernan and Megan Combs. Also keep in mind that Zeke, known for his successful local shows at bars like Eleven and Brick By Brick, is now hosting shows at the Casbah, and they're certain to draw local music aficionados. It may seem like a light Tuesday, but if you give any of these shows a try, your ears just might thank you.
