    NEWSLETTERS

After seeing their monstrous new video for "Buried in the Murder," we decided to meet the Lonely Wild at a safe place -- the Reuben H. Fleet Science Center at Balboa Park to be exact -- to chat about their January Soda Bar residency and their haunting, indie folk-pop. (Published Sunday, Jan 19, 2014)

This month has been a musical overload -- which certainly isn't a complaint by any means -- and  Tuesday's shows keep that momentum going. The Lonely Wild have been turning on new fans with their impressive sets during their Tuesday residency at Soda Bar (see our interview here), and with Nena Anderson and Soda Pants on the bill, Tuesday  will certainly be worth a late night. at House of Blues, where rockers 3 Doors Down will chill it down with an acoustic show. San Diego's Josh Damigo wil open things up after performing at Sundance over the weekend. Meanwhile, the Casbah continues on with the anniversary month with an Anti-Monday style lineup on a Tuesday. For those feeling nostalgic, '90ss alt-radio sensations Dishwalla perform down at Winston's.
