I know we don't get much of a winter here, but is the winter thaw happening or is San Diego just finally coming around to music? It's hard to remember a weekend with so many sold-out shows. This is great for everyone, unless you're stuck without a ticket to see your favorite band. Saturday's really hot ticket is Tristan Prettyman. After what we hear from her show on Friday. the local girl proved to be a superstar and will certainly impress once again with this show. On the opposite end of the spectrum, punk rockers D.O.A. perform their farewell tour at Brick By Brick, and at press time, there were still some tickets available. Around town, ALO return to the city with a show at House of Blues; Future You headline at the Void, the recently renamed City Heights bar Eleven; and Weatherbox play an all-ages show at the Che.
