Sounds Like San Diego: Dec. 26

Funk legends George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic return to San Diego

Many of our favorite spots are on an extended weekend, so if you're looking to get out this Monday night, you might want to double check that your local watering holes are open. If you're looking for live music, your options are limited, but with George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic at the Observatory, you might already have made your plans. They play San Diego every year or two, and you should be sure to see these legends while you can -- but a little warning, of all the things I've ever heard about Clinton, "punctual" isn't one of them, so plan on a possibly late night. At Blonde, local musicians get together to play a tribute to Kings of Leon, and Anti-Monday League offers up some stoner rock and metal with Amigo, Stokka and Monolith.
