Sounds Like San Diego: April 29

Demasiado play their first show in eight years

It's one of my favorite weekends of the year. It's completely overbooked with activity, but it's always fun to cruise Adams Avenue Unplugged, ArtWalk or the Encinitas Street Fair. I'm not sure why after all these years they overlap bookings, but nobody seems to care what I think about that. After a day in the sun, you can expect the Casbah to be a who's who of the local music scene as Demasiado reform to play their first show in eight years. With the bill filled out by Midnight Pine, BFSB and Madly, let's just say Sunday will be a recovery day for many. Around town, satellite radio listeners will be familiar with the Advanced Placement tour featuring Missio, 888 and Coast Modern at the House of Blues, our friends in the Verigolds rock out at Soda Bar and San Diego Soul Festival takes over at Valley View Casino Center.
