    NEWSLETTERS

It’s Memorial Day weekend in San Diego and the unofficial start of summer. In between your BBQs and beach time definitely make room for all of the non-stop party action.

On Friday night, Feel the Noise features Slpwlkrs and Memory Lounge live plus DJs Gabe Vega, Adam Salter, Saul Q and Bob Dazzla at the new Kitty Diamond (formerly the Flame). Your info is here. Another event on my radar is Otto Knows and Brazzabelle at Voyeur and there’s no cover before 10:30 p.m. with your RSVP here.

Saturday night, Club Sabbat invades the front room and attached patio of Numb3rs in Hillcrest. Ladnoir and I will spin everything from Darkwave to EBM to Industrial throughout the night. Christal Blu Creations will be on hand merchandising her fabulous hats and there will be food available all night courtesy of Grill Daddy. Get details via this link.

I Love This City Festival takes over Cricket Wireless Amphitheatre on Sunday. The lineup features some of the biggest names in the electronic music industry, including Skrillex, Wolfgang Gartner, A-Trak, the Crystal Method (DJ Set), 12th Planet, Brodinski, AC Slater and Deth Hertz. The show is 16 and up with full bar access for 21 and up only. After the show, LED presents the Official I Love This City Afterparty at Voyeur featuring “Special Guests.”  Get your tickets here. Also Sunday, it’s Intervention at the Hard Rock Hotel with electro-house DJ Steve Aoki. Plus, that night he will invade House Of Blues. The show also features opening sets by Mr. Nice Guy, Luke Skyy and Justin Campbell. It’s 18 and up with full bar access for those 21 and up. Added bonus if you don’t have to work on Monday.

There’s a lot going on and you can visit my blog here for more info. Remember: sunscreen, designated driver and I’ll see you on the dance floor this holiday weekend.
