Friday features the best Britpop dance party ever – F---ing in the Bushes with DJs Daniel Sant and Rob Moran. If you’ve been to the Whistle Stop on third Fridays, you know how great it is. As an added bonus, Sundrop Electric will be having their EP release party on this night. If the psychobilly vibe is on your agenda, may I suggest the Filthy Rockers Ball with Los Gatos Locos, the Strikers, Rail Them To Death, the Goon’s Army, the Gore Horsemen and the Screamin’ Yeehaws at Brick By Brick. On the other side of the musical spectrum, Swedish electronic producer Alesso’s first North American headlining tour hits Petco Park. Later that night he invades Voyeur for a 21-and-up set.
On Saturday, Ben Harper is doing an acoustic show at Copley Symphony Hall, Autolux will be at the Casbah, and Common Sense headlines at the Belly Up. Dance floor shenanigans are in effect as Boys & Girls hits El Dorado with DJs Mike Delgado, Adam Salter and Kimbo, while Gabe Vega and Saul Q take over the Whistle Stop with ‘80s vs. ‘90s. Plus, check out Mossberg Pump at Voyeur and Rusko’s Life Me Up Tour hits House of Blues.
On Sunday, you can check out the 91X Next Big Thing show with Basic Vacation at The Griffin. Tickets are only 91 cents at the door the night of and you can grab more details here.
