Kevin Riggs An Emmy-winning journalist, Riggs was a general assignment reporter, anchor and the lead for politics and the State Capitol for Sacramento’s NBC affiliate KCRA-TV for 17 years. He worked for Fresno’s ABC affiliate for 10 years and the CBS affiliate in Santa Barbara for three years, covering Ronald Reagan. Riggs received a bachelor’s degree in journalism from California Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo. He is currently senior vice president with Randle Communications.
Larry Gerston Larry Gerston is professor of political science at San Jose State University and serves as political analyst at NBC Bay Area. He received his Ph.D. from the University of California, Davis. Gerston has written ten books on politics and public policy making, three of which focus on the California experience. His eleventh book, Not So Golden After All: The Rise and Fall of California, will be published by Taylor & Francis in Spring 2012.
