Whoever said Californians didn’t have a “real” winter hasn’t visited Mountain High.
Fresh snow is waiting for avid skiers and snowboarders at the winter resort that is located just under an hour and a half east of Los Angeles.
Weather forecasts expect temperatures to continue throughout the week too, and predict that more powder can fall by the end of the week, complimenting the 12-24 inch base. Mountain High East and West will be open this weekend.
In less than two weeks, Mountain High will be holding its 11th annual Triple Air Show. A $25,000 cash prize will be given out. It is the richest “one day triple air contest” in the nation.
