Suspect in Police Killing Gives Himself Up on Live TV

A suspect linked to the murder of a Georgia police officer, and who was holding five hostages in an apartment throughout the afternoon, surrendered on television late last night. According to the Atlanta Journal Constitution, the suspect, James Hood, told law enforcement officials that he would come out as live TV cameras were rolling so that he wouldn’t be harmed.
