Foodies mourn death of culinary giant Michael Chiarello

Foodies in the Bay Area and across the country are mourning the loss of a culinary giant.

Michael Chiarello, 61, died Friday after suffering an allergic reaction that led to anaphylactic shock. 

As NBC Bay Area’s Jodi Hernandez reports, his death has left much of the culinary world stunned.
