Singer Meghan Trainor on Monday announced that she has been forced to postpone her Chicago performance due to a vocal cord hemorrhage.
The Chicago show, which was scheduled to take place at the Aragon Ballroom July 12 has been moved to Sept. 9, Trainor wrote in an Instagram post.
“I’m feeling much better, have already rescheduled most dates and will come back around to see you all soon!!” the singer wrote.
Trainor, known for popular tunes like “All About That Bass,” wrote on Instagram last week that she couldn’t “make any noise” and was put on “complete vocal rest” following a vocal cord hemorrhage.
She had earlier canceled shows in Atlantic City and Connecticut.
“I have never missed a tour date before so this is killing me,” she wrote.

In addition to the Chicago show, Trainor also rescheduled a performance in Detroit and canceled her appearance at the Common Ground Music Festival in Michigan.
