Maybe that TV show "Weeds" -- about a suburban housewife who sells pot to to make the ends meet -- is really catching on.
Two Southern California women are accused of trying to smuggle an estimated $100,000 worth of marijuana, with two kids in their minivan, officials said.
The pot --166 pounds of it -- was discovered by U.S. Border Patrol Monday on Westbound I-8 in Pine Valley, Calif.
Agents discovered the bundles of marijuana stuffed into storage compartments in the vehicle.
The 34-year-old driver and 28-year-old passenger, both residents of Los Angeles, were arrested.
Border patrol says a local social services agency took custody of the children.
