The Battle for Business: Calif. vs Nev.

Nevada development officials are telling California business owners they can "kiss their assets goodbye" if they stay put in an ad campaign to poach companies from a struggling California economy facing a $26.3 billion deficit.

The $250,000 TV, print and radio blitz set to launch Friday is the latest jab in an ongoing rivalry between the two neighbor states.

In 2004, Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger drove a moving van down the Las Vegas Strip to bring business back to California. Nevada retaliated with a "Will Your Business be Terminated?" campaign, referencing Schwarzenegger's role in the "Terminator" movies.

The California Chamber of Commerce says Nevada is fighting to make up for its 12 percent unemployment rate, one of the highest in the nation.
